For the past 39 years, Restoration has been the catalyst for many of the revitalization efforts that fuel the ongoing growth of Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The Brownstoners of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Inc. is a not-for-profit, volunteer service organization that is dedicated to the continued preservation and revitalization of the community. Now in its 29th year, the Brownstoners have established a number of significant initiatives, including the Tax Lien Outreach Project, the Reading Awareness Project, the Annual House Tour, and the McDonald/Glee Scholarship Fund.
